St. John’s Medical Center is a rural-regional hospital located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The current facility, which was built in 1991 and renovated in 2004, has 108 beds. The hospital serves the local population, surrounding counties in Wyoming, and visitors who come to see Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks. St. John’s Medical Staff is comprised of 150 providers, including 81 physicians who provide care on a regular basis in Teton County, Wyoming. Comprehensive care includes 24-hour emergency services, adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and treatment services, home care, hospice, in-home private nursing care, wellness programs, and the St. John’s Living Center long-term facility. In addition, there are several chiropractors, optometrists and physical therapists in private practices. Many health care professionals offer services at their offices, and visiting specialists provide expertise in areas such as oncology and perinatal care. Teton Valley Hospital is a county-owned 13-bed hospital in rural Teton Valley, Idaho. It is certified by Medicare as a Critical Access Hospital and has served the Teton Valley community since 1983. Services include, but are not limited to: 24-hour emergency room coverage by on-site physicians; 24-hour anesthesia coverage; family practice physicians; obstetrics and labor/delivery; medical imaging; laboratory services; physical and occupational therapy; sports medicine and orthopedics; and mental health counseling. Teton Valley Health Care operates a clinic in Driggs and Teton Valley Home Care Services provides care to patients and families in the vast rural areas. |
